Protecting what's important

How your data is kept private

Bambinotes’ privacy policy is built on one, simple premise: yours and your children’s privacy is sacroscant. As such, Bambinotes does not include any third party libraries or frameworks and is built from the ground up using only Apple’s frameworks and languages. At no point in development were any AI features, services or resources used and nor is Bambinotes collecting data to offer an AI featureset. Furthermore, Bambinotes does not track your usage or store or transmit any data which could help determine how the app is used and nor does it collect any data to facilitate the development of new features.

iCloud is supported for syncing data between devices, or sharing with other family members, but this is disabled by default, even going so far as to override the default system behavior, putting you firmly in control in how your data is shared. Therefore, when you first install Bambinotes and create a new logbook your data only exists on your device. If you opt-in to use iCloud for sync and sharing any personally identifying information (birthday, hospital number, name, notes, and sex) are encrypted in Cloudkit (see: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/cloudkit/encrypting-user-data#Encrypt-Fields-in-CloudKit).

Within Bambinotes there is an option to provide feedback or get support, which simply facilitates sending an email. At no point is your email address added to any lead capture or marketing database, nor are you signed up for newletters or any other promotional channels. This feature is strictly to enable support queries you may have or for help with any other questions or suggestions.
